The main purpose of this study is to produce needs analysis, literature review, and learning tools\nin the study of developmental of interactive multimedia based physic learning charged in problem solving\nto improve thinking ability of physic prospective student. The first-year result of the study is: result of the\ndraft based on a needs analysis of the facts on the ground, the conditions of existing learning and literature\nstudies. Following the design of devices and instruments performed as well the development of media.\nResult of the second study is physics learning device -based interactive multimedia charged problem\nsolving in the form of textbooks and scientific publications. Previous learning models tested in a limited\nsample, then in the evaluation and repair. Besides, the product of research has an economic value on the\ngrounds: (1) a virtual laboratory to offer this research provides a solution purchases physics laboratory\nequipment is expensive; (2) address the shortage of teachers of physics in remote areas as a learning tool\ncan be accessed offline and online; (3). reducing material or consumables as tutorials can be done online;\nTargeted research is the first year: i.e story board learning physics that have been scanned in a web form\nCD (compact disk) and the interactive multimedia of gas Kinetic Theory concept. This draft is based on a\nneeds analysis of the facts on the ground, the existing learning conditions, and literature studies. Previous\nlearning models tested in a limited sample, then in the evaluation and repair....
The rapid increasing demands of multi-media applications have busted the\nimprovement of video transmission. By the increase of multimedia transmission,\nquality of experience (QoE) has become the hot topic of the wireless\nnetworks research. This paper proposes a QoE-aware resource allocation algorithm\nin MIMO-OFDM Networks. The power allocation estimation is formulated\nto maximize according to QoE by considering the video transmission\nrate and the subcarrier schemes under the constraint of minimum power. In\nthis paper, we will analyses the the performance of video transmission from\ntransmission rate at the application layer to the power allocation at the physical\nlayer. From simulation results, we can see that the proposed subcarrier allocation\nalgorithm maximizes the video QoE by minimizing the sum distortion\nof multi-users in MIMO networks with power constraints....
Text representation is a basic issue of text information processing and event plays an important role in text understanding; both\nattract the attention of scholars. The event network conceals lexical relations in events, and its edges express logical relations between\nevents in document. However, the events and relations are extracted from event-annotated text, which makes it hard for largescale\ntext automatic processing. In the paper, with expanded CEC (Chinese Event Corpus) as data source, prior knowledge of\nmanifestation rules of event and relation as the guide, we propose an event extraction method based on knowledge-based rule of\nevent manifestation, to achieve automatic building and improve text processing performance of event network....
Robust and reversible watermarking is a potential technique in many sensitive applications, such as lossless audio or medical image\nsystems. This paper presents a novel robust reversible audio watermarking method by modifying the statistic features in time\ndomain in the way that the histogram of these statistical values is shifted for data hiding. Firstly, the original audio is divided into\nnon overlapped equal-sized frames. In each frame, the use of three samples as a group generates a prediction error and a statistical\nfeature value is calculated as the sum of all the prediction errors in the frame. The watermark bits are embedded into the frames by\nshifting the histogram of the statistical features. The watermark is reversible and robust to common signal processing operations.\nExperimental results have shown that the proposed method not only is reversible but also achieves satisfactory robustness to MP3\ncompression of 64 kbps and additive Gaussian noise of 35 dB....
Web-based Social Networks (W-bSNs) have recently experienced a significant rise regarding users and the number of relations\namong them. Twitter is a case of W-bSN in which the relevance of the commentaries posted influences how users create new\nrelations.The reputation of a user has a direct effect on the perception and opinions of other people and can be appropriately used\nto obtain advantages. The thought expressed by an influential user can produce, as an effect, which other users changed an idea\nabout a topic. In this work, we present the design and results of the empirical study to analyze the cross influence among users, for\ntheir interest, and the messages they post and how relevant these messages are in how we create new relations. One of the main\ncontributions of this approach is to analyze the behavior of users and the impact of the diversification of topics and the inclusion of\nadditional resources to the tweet such as videos, images, or URLs. Finally, the experimental results show that the proposed strategies\nare efficient for all accounts....
Digital watermarking is a technique used to protect an authors copyright and has become widespread due to the rapid development\nofmultimedia technologies. In this paper, a novel watermarking algorithm using the nonsubsample shearlet transformis proposed,\nwhich combines the directional edge features of an image. A shearlet provides an optimal multiresolution and multidirectional\nrepresentation of an image based on distributed discontinuities such as edges, which ensures that the embedded watermark does\nnot blur the image. In the proposed algorithm, the nonsubsample shearlet transform is used to decompose the cover image into\ndirectional subbands, where different directional subbands represent different directional and textured features.Thesubbandwhose\ntexture directionality is strongest is selected to carry the watermark and is thus suitable for the human visual system. Next, singular\nvalue decomposition is performed on the selected subband image. Finally, the watermark is embedded in the singular value matrix,\nwhich is beneficial for the watermarking robustness and invisibility. In comparison with related watermarking algorithms based on\ndiscrete wavelet transforms and nonsubsample contourlet transformdomains, experimental results demonstrate that the proposed\nscheme is highly robust against scaling, cropping, and compression....
The rapid development of information technology today has given a new breath toward usage of computer in education. One of the\nincreasingly popular nowadays is a multimedia technology that merges a variety of media such as text, graphics, animation, video and audio\ncontrolled by a computer. With this technology, a wide range of multimedia element can be developed to improve the quality of education.\nFor that reason, this study aims to investigate the use of multimedia element based on animated video that was developed for Engineering\nDrawing subject according to the syllabus of Vocational College of Malaysia. The design for this study was a survey method using a\nquantitative approach and involved 30 respondents from Industrial Machining students. The instruments used in study is questionnaire with\ncorrelation coefficient value (0.83), calculated on Alpha-Cronbach. Data was collected and analyzed descriptive analyzed using SPSS. The\nstudy found that multimedia element for animation video was use significant have capable to increase imagination and visualization of\nstudent. The implications of this study provide information of use of multimedia element will student effect imagination and visualization. In\ngeneral, these findings contribute to the formation of multimedia element of materials appropriate to enhance the quality of learning material\nfor engineering drawing....
